ISTA 10 took place on 2-6 October 2023 in Madrid, organised by Enrique Lara & team in the charming setting of the Royal Botanical Gardens of Madrid.

ISTA 9 3/4 (online, Neuchâtel, Switzerland)

ISTA 10 was initially planned in August 2020 but due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic it has been postponed to August 2021. Then as the waves continued to come in and travel restrictions remained it was postponed to 2022. But hell, this means that a generation of PhD students won't get a chance to interact with colleagues, this can't be ! So we organised an online meeting to keep us in appetite until the big 2022 Niagara ISTA! The meeting wase organised by the Soil Biodiversity Lab in Neuchâtel (Edward Mitchell & team). With 100 people participating the meeting was a great success!

ISTA 9 (Belfast, UK)

ISTA 9 took place in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 10-14 September 2018. Many thanks to Helen Roe & team for organising such a nice meeting.
